The Puy de Sancy towers above most of the verdant countryside that you will observe during your outings within the Puy de Dome. You might be interested in a tour along one of the lengthy pedestrian walks/ cycle paths. For walking amateurs, our pretty mountains are waiting for you. There are some beautiful walks with magnificent view points and surrounding panoramas.
The Puy de Sancy culminates at 1886 metres of altitude, it takes 20 to 30 minutes by car for you to get there, and you can take in all of the amazing views on route. If you are both lucky and discreet, you may have the chance to see the chamois, the mouflon and even the marmots.
